I have been waiting for over a year for Adrienne to come and play on the beach with me. I've always been inspired by her- not only her physical beauty, but her expression, her heart.

We shot these images on the sand four days before she got on a plane today to pursue her dreams in New York City.

It's a really special thing to see someone take the first steps toward a journey and a life you know is their destiny.

Adrienne, we all know this is your path. We are here cheering you on from the West Coast, and we cannot wait to see you fly.

Did I mention that they are swing dancers?

Their bridal party was hilarious, good looking, and fun. The reception was absolutely filled to the brim with laughter, dancing, and fabulous music. If they weren't being sent off with bubbles in a Rolls Royce, I don't think they ever would have left the party.

And who can blame them? Look how much fun everyone had. :)

Again, I have to say that my second shooter, Kym Vitar Photography, was absolutely indespensible. Thank you Kym for your support, your vision, and your talent.

I was so excited when Brian and Jennifer contacted me and told me about their day- they were getting married at the Women's Club of Orange, one of my favorite historical venues. It's got a dance hall spirit, and a garden courtyard. What could be better for two swing dancers who appreciate nature?

Their wedding was filled with family, music, and, of course, dancing. Pretty much the perfect combo of ingredients, if you ask me. Symbolism played a large part in their day, with nods to the Tree of Life and plums. For more on the beautiful themes of their day, visit their site (here).

Enjoy these images and leave them some love here on the blog.

Congratulations Brian and Jennifer!

The best is yet to come.

You know how when you were a kid, and on Christmas morning you had to wait until your parents woke up to go downstairs to see the presents? That moment of twitchy, bouncy excitement, when each minute feels like an eternity? That's how I feel in waiting to share the images from this incredible wedding experience in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. So to quell my excitement, I decided to share a few here from Dana and Anthony's first dance. More to come. MANY more to come.
